The construction industry remains one of the key sectors of Ukraine's economy: it creates hundreds of thousands of jobs, drives related industries (cement, metallurgy, woodworking), and has a significant impact on infrastructure development. The COVID-19 pandemic has slowed down many sectors of the economy, but demand for housing, commercial properties, and engineering structures has kept the industry stable in terms of income. However, wage levels in the industry vary significantly, from blue-collar jobs to management positions at construction companies or contracting organizations. The highest figures in the industry are in the capital, Kyiv.
This ranking is based on official data from Ukraine's state statistics agencies and the National Classifier of Professions DK 003:2010. The focus is on the highest-paid positions in the industry.

- The highest-paid specialists work on large infrastructure projects (bridges, roads, treatment facilities, energy).
- Kyiv remains the leader in terms of salaries, with a 10–15% gap from the average for Ukraine.
- Demand for project managers and chief engineers continues to grow due to a shortage of qualified personnel.
Despite official data on average salaries in the construction industry, there is another level of remuneration on the Ukrainian labor market—the top level. It is characteristic of the country's leading construction companies, development holdings, and large general contractors that implement large-scale projects and compete for the best management and engineering personnel. In such companies, the level of remuneration can exceed the industry average by 7–10 times.
The highest salaries in the industry are earned by directors (managers) of companies who are recognized experts in the construction market, possess strong management skills, are responsible for results, and influence the future of the construction industry. Such directors lead teams, manage investment projects, conclude strategic contracts, and influence the development of the company. High salaries are an investment by the company in leadership and business development.
